About Us

Fife Council's Childcare Services Team, providers over 50 out of school clubs across Fife.  You can see a full list of locations on our find a service pages.

Most of our services are designed to support primary school aged children, however we also have three services to support children and young people with complex additional support needs up to the age of 16.

As a service aim to:

1. provide high-quality, affordable, and flexible childcare services that support parents and carers in accessing or sustaining employment, training, or further education.
2. establish a robust network of school-aged childcare providers across Fife, ensuring a sustainable and diverse range of services, with a specific focus on supporting the private and voluntary sectors.
3. enhance the professional development of childcare staff through effective and accessible learning opportunities, promoting excellence in school-aged childcare services across Fife.
4. ensure the sustainability of childcare services, fostering long-term viability and growth.
