Lochgelly Out of School Club
Lochgelly Out of School Club (OOSC) is located in the dining hall at Lochgelly High School, serving children from all schools in Lochgelly.
We provide a fun, nurturing, and safe environment for children after school only, with access to a variety of outdoor spaces, including the playground, playing field, and AstroTurf pitches. Additionally, we are within walking distance of local amenities such as the library, farms, park, and Lochore Meadows.
On a typical day, children enjoy free flow access to a wide range of resources and engage in activities led by their own interests, including karaoke, arts and crafts, team games, construction, den building, and board games. Children are also involved in the planning and preparation of healthy snacks, promoting teamwork and responsibility.
Our approach is centered on the needs of the child, aiming to support their emotional, social, and cognitive development. We strive to create an environment where every child feels valued, supported, and encouraged to explore their interests.
Opening Hours and Fees
- After School Club: 3.00 to 6.00pm
- Holiday Club: 7.30am to 6.00pm (During school holidays we operate from another nearby service)
