Pitteuchar Out of School Club
Our service is located within Pitteuchar East Primary School where we are located in Room 1.
We provide childcare after school, 3-6pm Monday to Friday, term time only. A host club will operate over holiday periods in the Glenrothes area for families who require full day childcare. This requires a separate booking form available direct from the club
We provide a walking taxi from Pitteuchar West Primary School down to the club, escorted by a core member of staff.
We also offer a bus escort from Thornton Primary School.
At the service we offer an indoor and a free flow outdoor play space for the children to enjoy. Our rational is to provide child led activities whereby the children take ownership of the service, to feel included, listened to and respected by staff and other children attending. The children have the opportunity to choose snacks on a rotational basis, following the healthy eating guide in schools.
The children are given the opportunity to go to the woods and the local park and we also have our outdoor loose parts shed which is full of resources for the children to explore.
Opening Hours and Fees
- After School Club: 3.00 to 6.00pm
- Holiday Club: 7.30am to 6.00pm (During school holidays we operate from Caskieberran Primary School)
