Masterton Out of School Club
Masterton Out of School Club is located in the dining hall at Masterton Primary School. We also have use of gym hall, grass pitch and quiet room named “The Snug” by the children.
The club is very busy with the capacity to take 48 children in before school and 64 after school. We provide a fun, nurturing, and safe environment for children before and after school, as well as during school holidays and inset days, with access to a variety of outdoor spaces, including the playground with climbing wall and bars and large playing field. Additionally, we are within walking distance of local amenities such as play park, woods and local supermarket.
On a typical day, children enjoy free flow access to a wide range of resources and engage in activities led by their own interests, including chill time, messy play, arts and crafts, team games, construction, den building, and board games. Children are also involved in the planning and preparation of healthy snacks, promoting teamwork and responsibility.
Our approach is child-centred, and we strive to meet needs of the child, aiming to support their emotional, social, and cognitive development. Our aim is to provide and environment where every child feels valued, supported, and encouraged to explore their interests.
