Auchtermuchty Out of School Club

Welcome to our Out of School Club!

Location: We're in a classroom at the back of the school. Access us via the staff car park, past the P6 hut, and through the glass classroom door on the left.

Our Space:

• Kitchenette: For children to prepare and tidy away their own healthy snacks.
• Cosy Corner: A safe space for our younger ones (P1 & P2).
• Quiet Zone: A chill-out area in the cloakroom for older children (P6 & P7).

Activities:

• Indoor: Board games, arts & crafts, toys, science experiments, pogo sticks, wiggle cars, team games, sports, gymnastics, and indoor snowball fun.
• Outdoor: Loose parts play, campfires, tree climbing, hammock fun, mud kitchen, rope ladder, tree swing, slack line, nature-based learning, and safe use of tools.
• Adventures: Walks to local parks, The Common, the library, and a safe paddling and pond-dipping spot in the burn.

Our Approach:

• Play: Child-led experiences with staff support.
• Support: Safe, supervised risky play, positive relationships, and values of kindness, understanding, and inclusion.

Working Together:

• We value getting to know families. Your input is welcome, whether it's ideas, feedback, resources, or a friendly chat.

Opening Hours and Fees

• Breakfast Club: 7.45 to 9.00am
• After School Club: 3.00 to 6.00pm
• Holiday Club: 7.30am to 6.00pm (During school holidays we operate from Falkland Primary School)
