Castlehill Out of School Club

We are a vibrant, welcoming childcare service based in Castlehill Primary School, Cupar. We are a large and well-established club, operating five days a week and offering both breakfast and after school care. With a capacity of 40 children and a dedicated team of five experienced staff, we provide a safe, stimulating, and fun environment for children to thrive.

 

At Castlehill, no two days are the same. Our activities are child-led and tailored to the interests and ideas of the children who attend. We are lucky to have access to a large gym hall where children can enjoy a variety of activities including arts and crafts, board and card games, construction toys, role play (such as dressing up, dolls, and play kitchens), as well as physical games like basketball and gymnastics. A favourite among many of our children is using the gym mats to create dens and practice gymnastic skills.

 

Outdoor play is a big part of what we do. Children can explore our expansive outdoor areas every day, which include a park, trim trail, large football pitch, and eco-garden. The park and trim trail are particular favourites and provide endless opportunities for fun, creativity, and adventure.

We also offer access to school computers, giving children a small amount of free time to enjoy games of their choice in a supervised setting.

 

Snack time at Castlehill is more than just a bite to eat, it’s a learning opportunity. We provide healthy, tasty snack options daily, with the children involved in choosing the menu. They also help prepare and tidy up after snack, promoting independence and life skills in a fun and supportive environment.

Whether your child loves being creative, active, outdoors, or socialising with friends, Castlehill Out of School Club offers something for everyone. We’re proud to provide a space where children feel happy, valued, and excited to return each day.

Opening Hours and Fees

• Breakfast Club: 7.30 to 9.00am
• After School Club: 3.00 to 6.00pm
• Holiday Club: 7.30am to 6.00pm (During school holidays we operate from Falkland Primary School)
