Great Inspection Result for Carnegie Out of School Club
We are delighted to share that Carnegie Out of School Club has received a very positive inspection report following an unannounced visit from the Care Inspectorate on 17–18 February 2026. Inspectors evaluated the quality of children’s experiences, the environment, staff practice, and overall quality assurance within the service, and their findings reflect the high standard of care delivered at the club.
Key Findings from the Inspection
According to the Care Inspectorate report:
- Children experienced kind, caring and nurturing interactions with staff, helping them feel safe, secure and supported.
- Children were happy, engaged and having fun, showing sustained interest in the wide range of activities available and confidently leading their own play.
- Transitions were smooth, contributing to children feeling settled and comfortable within the setting.
- The inspectors confirmed that all core assurances were met, with no improvements required in areas relating to safety, the physical environment, or legal operation of the service.
- Quality assurance processes are well‑established, supporting ongoing improvement, with opportunities identified to further develop self‑evaluation approaches.
The report also highlighted that inspectors reviewed staff deployment, personal planning, children’s engagement, and the indoor/outdoor environment, noting positive practice across these areas.
